Get married in Croatia or Madrid or on a tropical beach. Might as well spend your money on something that will give you a lasting memory. Not that a hometown wedding doesn't provide lasting memories...it is just that you could combine wedding and honeymoon. It would have to be simple, I think. Perhaps hotels provide wedding packages.
